Changes you may notice:
When abnormal behavior is detected, Darktrace Email may take any of the following actions, depending on the risk it associates with the email in question. Staff are able to manage many of these actions on their own. Please read the following sections.
Hold Actions:
Only when Darktrace takes an action on your email will you receive a summary report of the actions for that day. If you a see an email you are expecting, you may request the release of such email. See the example image below:
You can click to open a short summary of what Darktrace Email thinks of the selected email, why it was actioned in the way it was, and why you should be cautious when interacting with it. A summary may look like the following example:
Double check the sender and subject information to be certain that the email is legitimate before releasing. In the event that you release an email that is NOT legitimate, don't click anything or open attachments and delete the email.
Link Actions:
In the case of link actions, Darktrace may restrict you from clicking a link that is potentially malicious. You may be redirected to a landing page similar to the below example:
Be cautious when accessing these links. It never hurts to confirm with the sender if they meant to send you a link. Its best to do this by phone, if possible. Contact Technology services if you are unable to release a link that you are certain you need.
Please contact Technology Services (help@centralunified.org) if you have any questions.
